North Tyneside
Dance Festival
Year 4 took part in North Tyneside dance festival, it was great. The person, who taught us the dance, was helpful and kind. Even if we messed it up. She came up with all the dance herself. I’m sure I’m not the only one who thinks she was great and I thank her for that.
How I felt before the dance.
I was terrified because I had never preformed a dance in front of others before. I wasn’t the only one who was scared because I could tell so was everyone else,
especially the girls doing the same part of the dance as me.
On Stage
When we arrived at The Parks, everyone watched the first dances then it was us.
We went to start the dance but they put the wrong music on and people started to laugh, but it didn’t distract us.
How I felt after the dance.
I was so relieved that I didn’t mess everything up and I realized it wasn’t anywhere near as scary as I thought it would be and all of the parents thought it was amazing.
They were all happy and so were we.
